So subscriptions are now a thing on DA, which basically gives anyone with Core membership the ability to put their content behind a paywall. Honestly, I'm not buying into that idea. It's not only because I don't have Core membership, but also because I don't think my content is at a level worthy of charging any kind of fee to look at, because I'm not a professional artist or photographer in any sense, plus I just dislike the concept of paywalls altogether. Additionally, I also think this'll just give pretentious artists the opportunity to charge absurd subscription fees, assuming the subscriptions feature even allows custom pricing. It's bad enough that these artists already do this with commission prices. I just do art and photography as a hobby, I don't wanna make money off of it. I just don't really believe in putting a price on my own art, because to me I think it's worth whatever someone might be willing to pay for it. Honestly I'd feel like a greedy asshole if I was to set
